ACGME Resident Survey 3-9-15 to 4-12-15

Dear Residents,

The ACGME Survey will once again be distributed to you for completion.  This is the annual anonymous survey administered by the ACGME that you complete (we expect all residents to participate).
I am aware that Dr. Zeizafoun recently met with the residents to review the survey questions, but I am forwarding additional guidance documents from our GME.
Please let me know if you have any further questions about the survey.
Thanks.

Greetings,

As you are already aware, the ACGME Resident Survey will be open March 9, 2015 through April 12, 2015.  Please note:

1. The ACGME’s Resident/Fellow survey is a tool for monitoring program quality and provides early warning of potential noncompliance with ACGME accreditation standards. All specialty and subspecialty programs (regardless of size) are surveyed every year between January and June. Aggregate reports are made available to programs with 4 or more residents if a 70% response rate is reached.

2. You should meet with the house staff as soon as is feasible to review the survey and the log-in process (please feel free to distribute the attached and use it when you meet with the residents to discuss the survey).

3. Remind the residents/fellows to read the questions carefully (please feel free to use the “Resident Survey Memo 2015” attached)

4. You or your coordinator should log in to WebADS periodically to monitor progress towards reaching the 70% participation threshold – we will send you periodic updates

Thank you in advance for educating your resident/fellows and ensuring that the 70% threshold is met.
