Program Update – Fall 2015
Interview season is upon us once again! It only seems like yesterday that we were welcoming our new recruits into the program, yet very soon it will be time to diligently comb through the ERAS applications to search for the best candidates for July 2016.
We remain proud of the many accomplishments achieved by our program as measured by the success of its trainees past and present. Once again, our trainees scored highly overall on the in-service exam (RISE) this past spring, and we congratulate all five of our June graduates who not only have taken the next step in their careers by entering into top-notch fellowship programs of their choice, but have also accomplished a major milestone in their careers by becoming AP/CP diplomates of the American Board of Pathology.
Meanwhile, our trainees continue to contribute to the advancement of the pathology field at-large as they actively publish and present interesting articles and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals and world-renowned meetings such as CAP, ASCP, and USCAP.
I look forward to contiuing this tradition of success as we carry out our search for the next group of PGY-1‘s who will no doubt be the future pathologists to proudly call themselves grauates of the Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Rooselt and Beth Israel AP/CP training program.
